BGV Group Management is ready to temporarily provide up to 500 square meters of retail space at Pechersky Market to entrepreneurs who lost their trading locations as a result of a Russian missile strike on the book market at Pochaina.

According to the company, Pechersky Market became the property of BGV Group Management in March 2026, and the company is currently conducting a comprehensive audit of the property and developing a concept for its further development.
"We are investing in the development of modern retail spaces and understand how important a role they play for local entrepreneurs and urban communities. Therefore, we are offering retail space at our new property at a symbolic rent to entrepreneurs who lost their locations at Pochaina so that they can resume operations as quickly as possible. We want to give people an opportunity to continue their businesses and preserve the community that has been built here over decades," the BGV Group Management team said.
Until the end of November 2026, the rent for such tenants will be a symbolic UAH 1. Entrepreneurs will pay only for utilities actually consumed and expenses related to operating the retail space. After the preferential period ends, the entrepreneurs who wish to continue operating at Pechersky Market will discuss further terms of cooperation.
As reported, on the night of Aug. 16, a large-scale fire broke out at the book market near Pochaina metro station as a result of Russian shelling. Part of the market's retail rows was destroyed, and entrepreneurs lost their trading locations, merchandise and ability to continue operating. BGV Group Management said its offer was aimed not only at supporting the affected entrepreneurs but also at helping preserve the community of sellers and buyers that had developed over decades.
