Russian drones struck Soniachna Halereia (Sunny Gallery) shopping mall in Kryvy Rih twice; exact figures on the dead and wounded are being clarified, the press service of the Arricano development company told Interfax-Ukraine.
"Today, Russian drones struck Soniachna Halereia shopping mall in Kryvy Rih twice. According to emergency services, there are fatalities and injuries as a result of the attack. Exact figures are being verified. Emergency services and shopping center staff are on the scene. While response efforts are ongoing, we cannot provide more detailed information regarding the victims or the extent of the damage. Please do not approach the shopping center and do not interfere with the work of emergency services," the company said.
According to Chairman of the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Center Maksym Havriushyn, Soniachna Halereia has become the 39th shopping center to be damaged since the start of the war.
"There are fatalities and injuries. Our condolences go out to all the victims. One day, the Russians will be held accountable for all their war crimes," he said on LinkedIn.
As previously reported, there are currently six confirmed fatalities as a result of the Russian occupiers' strike on the shopping center in Kryvy Rih, as well as 103 injured, including 11 children, three of whom are in critical condition.
