International home-goods retailer JYSK lost its store at the Soniachna Halereia (Sunny Gallery) shopping center in Kryvy Rih on Friday following a targeted missile strike; none of the company's employees were injured, JYSK Country Director in Ukraine Yevhen Ivanytsia said.
"JYSK has just lost a store in Kryvy Rih following a targeted, deliberate Russian strike on the Soniachna Halereia shopping center. None of the JYSK employees were injured. But that brings little relief. More than a hundred people were injured, and there are fatalities, including children. There are no words. Simply no words. In the middle of the day. A completely civilian facility," he wrote on LinkedIn.
According to Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, the number of people killed in the Russian strike on the shopping center building in Kryvy Rih has risen to six after one of the severely wounded victims died in hospital. Earlier, five deaths and 91 people injured in the strike on Kryvy Rih had been reported. Twenty-one people are in serious condition, including a child. At least six children were among those injured in the strike.
