Russian attack drones struck a shopping center in Kryvy Rih in two waves; the second strike occurred half an hour after the first hit and the resulting fire, when rescue services were already on the scene, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.
"The attack drones struck in two waves: half an hour after the first strike and the resulting fire, there was a second strike targeting the emergency services," Zelenskyy said on his Telegram channel on Friday.
According to him, six people were killed in the attack, and another 91 were injured, including six children. All of the wounded are receiving the necessary medical care.
Zelenskyy called the Russian strike on the shopping center "utterly cynical and despicable" and stated that such attacks constitute acts of terrorism.
"And the world must respond accordingly-with real pressure on the aggressor," the president said.
He emphasized that establishing peace requires holding Russia truly accountable for such strikes.
