Volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) are helping evacuate people from dangerous territories in Kharkiv region, where Russian shelling has intensified.
"Due to the intensification of shelling, mandatory evacuation of the population is ongoing from Shevchenkove hromada, Kupyansk district, Kharkiv region. The Rapid Response Unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society in Kharkiv region is helping people leave dangerous areas," URCS reported on Facebook.
The organization noted that in a single day, volunteers evacuated nine people.
