Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretsky reported on a meeting with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), the Ministers of Finance and Internal Affairs, the Acting Minister of Defense, and the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, during which they discussed the real updated funding needs of the Defense Forces through the end of current 2026.
"The government and the Ministry of Finance directly are working to fully secure all necessary expenditures. All internal tax revenues, as before, are directed toward the needs of the security and defense sector. The government will work on finding additional resources, including through the attraction of aid from our international partners," Koretskyi wrote on Telegram on Sunday following the meeting.
The head of government also reported that "the vision for funding the Defense Forces for next year has already been formed."
"We are working on the comprehensive formation of Budget 2027," Koretsky added.
