The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense said that following a strike by Ukrainian drones in Russia’s Samara region, Syzran Oil Refinery, with a capacity of approximately 8.5 million metric tonnes per year, is on fire.
"We report: following a strike by Ukrainian drones, Syzran Oil Refinery in Russia’s Samara region is on fire. The oil refinery, with a capacity of about 8.5 million metric tonnes per year, is owned by Rosneft. The facility is one of the key industrial sites in the region and supplies fuel to Russian troops," the Defense Ministry said in a Telegram post on Saturday.
