A formal welcoming ceremony for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who arrived in Belgrade yesterday, took place in front of the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade, followed by a scheduled one-on-one meeting between President Aleksandar Vučić and his Ukrainian counterpart, according to the Serbian broadcaster RTS.
A meeting between the delegations of the two countries, led by Vučić and Zelenskyy, is scheduled for 11:15 (12:15 local time).
At 12:00, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management of Serbia and the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection regarding cooperation in the field of animal health and food safety, in the presence of the two leaders.
Press statements by the presidents of both countries are scheduled for 12:05.
On Friday, Zelenskyy arrived in Serbia for his first official visit. The President of Serbia hosted a dinner in honor of the Ukrainian president’s arrival in Belgrade.
