The Main Intelligence Agency of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported that Ilsky Oil Refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar territory had been struck.
"On the night of August 8, 2026, operators from the Department of Active Operations and the Department of Unmanned Systems of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense struck Ilsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar territory as part of a deep-strike operation against Russia," the agency said in the statement on the Telegram channel on Saturday.
The attack on the refinery, which supplies resources for Russia’s criminal war against Ukraine, caused a fire, the Main Intelligence Agency said.
