The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) came under unprecedented Russian attacks in July.
"In Vilniansk, Zaporizhia region, an FPV drone completely destroyed a rapid response unit vehicle bearing the Red Cross emblem… During a massive attack on Kyiv, one of the Ukrainian Red Cross's warehouse complexes was damaged. A total of 320,000 units of humanitarian aid and hospital equipment worth over UAH 79 million were destroyed by fire. These resources were intended for hundreds of thousands of people in vulnerable groups," the society said on Facebook on Friday.
The URCS also said that in Druzhkivka, Donetsk region, the office of the organization's local branch was damaged, which has temporarily hampered operations near the front lines.
"Every such attack destroys more than just buildings, vehicles, or supplies. It undermines our ability to reach those in need in a timely manner, deliver essential supplies, and support people during their most difficult moments. Despite the constant danger and losses, volunteers and staff of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society continue to carry out their mission and assist the civilian population throughout the country," the society said.
