Russia damages 7 Ukrnafta production sites in massive strike
Russia carried out a massive strike on facilities of PJSC Ukrnafta, part of the Naftogaz Group, hitting seven oil and gas production sites in the east of the country overnight.
"Critically important equipment for the company’s operations was destroyed, leading to the shutdown of several facilities and the loss of significant production volumes," Naftogaz reported on Friday.
According to acting Naftogaz CEO Serhiy Fedorenko, the night of August 7 saw the most extensive shelling of Ukrnafta facilities in recent months.
"Fortunately, no casualties are reported," he said.
In addition, over the past 24 hours the enemy attacked four UKRNAFTA filling stations in Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Customers and staff were unharmed.
Naftogaz recalled that in the seven months of 2026, Russia destroyed 32 UKRNAFTA filling stations and five complexes of PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia.
