Traffic accident involving bus in Kharkiv injures 9
On Tuesday morning, a traffic accident involving a bus occurred at the intersection of Alyoshyn Avenue and Byblik Street in Kharkiv, injuring nine people.
"A 28-year-old driver of a Toyota car entered the intersection on a red traffic light, where he collided with a Karsan bus driven by a 73-year-old driver. Following the collision, the bus drove into the oncoming lane, where it collided with a Ford car driven by a 53-year-old man," reported the Communications Department of the Main Directorate of National Police in Kharkiv Region.
According to law enforcement officers, passengers and the bus driver are among the injured.
The issue of registering the details of the incident into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 1 of Art. 286 (violation of rules of road safety or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being decided.
