Russia launches combined strike on Sumy, wounds 2, destroys post office in community
On Friday night, Russian troops launched a combined strike on Sumy using guided aerial bombs, jet-powered drones, and other UAVs, resulting in two people being wounded, reported Head of Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov.
"Hits by two guided aerial bombs, attacks by jet-type UAVs and other enemy drones were recorded. Two people were wounded. They were hospitalized, and medics are providing the necessary assistance. Preliminarily, the condition of the victims is not severe," he wrote on Telegram.
In addition, according to him, private residential buildings, non-residential premises, transport, and infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Some of the enemy air targets were successfully destroyed, noted Hryhorov.
Also, he added, at night the Russians destroyed a post office in the Hlukhiv community.
"The enemy attacked civilian infrastructure with a strike UAV. The building suffered significant destruction. Preliminarily, no people were hurt," he wrote.
