In the communities of Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region, most of the planned work to restore centralized water supply has been completed, and emergency crews continue to work around the clock, reported Minister for Restoration, Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine Mykola Kalashnyk.
"Work to restore centralized water supply in the communities of Nikopol district is ongoing. Most of what was planned has already been completed. About a hundred workers of emergency crews and dozens of units of specialized equipment are working non-stop," he wrote on Telegram.
Kalashnyk noted that workers are provided with everything necessary for uninterrupted and round-the-clock work.
According to him, to increase the resilience of this hub, a reserve of equipment is being ensured in parallel with the repairs. Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Hanzha and his team are working at the site of the accident response.
Reserves of technical and drinking water are being provided by local authorities, SES units, and charitable organizations.
