Petro Poroshenko, a Member of the Ukrainian Parliament and leader of the ‘European Solidarity’ party, has handed over 20 ‘Ai-Petri’ systems, designed to counter technical reconnaissance, to brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As the politician stated on his Facebook page, this batch was funded jointly with Western NATO partners.

“Our main goal remains unchanged – to stop Putin and force him to make peace. To achieve this more quickly, we must strengthen our defence forces. We must ensure that the main burden falls on air defence systems, electronic warfare systems, robotic systems and drones,” Poroshenko noted on social media.
According to him, the “Ai-Petri” systems are effectively used against Russian reconnaissance drones, FPV drones and guided aerial bombs, providing cover for Ukrainian military positions. “Every such system saves the lives of our soldiers,” he emphasised.
Since autumn 2023, Poroshenko has invested over 200 million hryvnias in the production of “Ai-Petri SV” systems, which are already being used on the front line and cover around a thousand kilometres of the front line. The politician had previously announced the signing of a contract with the Ministry of Defence for the supply of these systems.
According to Poroshenko, since the start of the project, the armed forces have received hundreds of “Ai-Petri” systems, which were developed by Ukrainian engineers and programmers and have no equivalents either in the Ukrainian Armed Forces or among the enemy.
