The United Kingdom has imposed sanctions on 18 Russian companies, banks and vessels, as well as one individual, the UK Foreign Office said in a statement published on Thursday.
The sanctions list includes six banks, six industrial companies and six tankers, according to the document.
Sanctions were imposed on the vessels Arctic Express, Perseas, Torviany, Astreas, Visund and Zenturo.
The sanctions lists also include Ozon Bank, Roseximbank, Center-invest Bank, Realist Bank, Stavr Bank (Stavropolpromstroybank) and Teleport.
The UK also imposed sanctions on Russian companies Frion Ship Management LLP, Severny Engineering, Metallkomplekt, Nikom, Promsiz and Tekhnolyuks.
Siltron chairman Oleksandr Zhdanov was also sanctioned, according to the document.
The restrictions include the freezing of assets belonging to the named banks and the blocking of payment processing.
