FC Dnipro (Dnipropetrovsk) beat Dutch PSV Eindhoven 2-0 in a group stage match in the Champions League, which took place at the Dnipro Arena stadium on September 20.
Dnipro's forward of Brazilian origin Matheus netted the opener in the 50th minute and eight minutes later the Dutch team's Atiba Hutchinson scored an own goal.
FC Dnipro managed to get to the group stage of the Champions League for the first time at the third attempt in the history of the tournament, which replaced the UEFA Cup in the 2009-2010 season.
