The Ukrainian government expects that businesses will increase their social responsibility and make more investment in the development of state-run enterprises, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.
"The government understands all of the obvious problems that hinder development of domestic enterprises. That's why we're working hard to improve the business environment in Ukraine. At the same time, the government expects that businesses will increase their social responsibility and investments in the development of Ukrainian enterprises," he said while opening a meeting of the government on Wednesday.
Azarov promised that the government would quickly tackle the problems of enterprises and develop policies aimed at reducing taxes and regulatory pressure.
