Sybiha: We working on Zelenskyy-Madyar meeting; it will definitely take place

Ukraine and Hungary are working to organize a meeting between their leaders-President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Péter Magyar-Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha has said.

"I can confirm that we are working on a meeting between the leaders: a meeting between President Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Magyar. Just before the press conference, I had another conversation with Anita Orbán [Hungarian Foreign Minister]. This meeting will definitely take place," Sybiha said at a press conference with his Slovak counterpart Juraj Blanár in Vinnytsia on Friday.

As reported, on April 28, Péter Magyar, then the future Prime Minister of Hungary, initiated a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in early June in the city of Berehove.

On April 29, Presidential Communications Advisor Dmytro Lytvyn stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had not yet finalized his schedule for June, "besides, bilateral meetings are coordinated through bilateral contacts."
