Zelenskyy announces strike with F-5 Flamingo cruise missiles on military-industrial complex facility in Cheboksary
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Ukrainian long-range F-5 Flamingo missiles struck military-industrial complex facilities in Cheboksary, Russia. The president stated on Telegram that last night involved combat launches of F-5 Flamingo cruise missiles as part of the Armed Forces’ Deep Strike operation against several enemy targets.
According to Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian cruise missiles traveled a distance of over 1,500 km. He noted that the targeted military production site manufactured relay protection systems, automation, and low-voltage equipment. The plant supplied navigation elements for the Russian Navy, the missile industry, aviation, and armored vehicles used in the war against Ukraine. Zelenskyy emphasized that Russia must end its war and move toward real diplomacy, noting that Ukraine has already made its proposal.
