AFU Air Force: 70 enemy UAVs neutralized since 08:30, ballistic missile, 14 attack drone hits recorded

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported hits by a ballistic missile and 14 attack UAVs between 08:30 and 18:30 on Monday, May 4, as well as the neutralization of 70 of 88 drones of various types that attacked Ukraine.

"On May 4, from 08:30 to 18:30, the enemy attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 88 Shahed-type attack UAVs, including jet-powered ones, Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya-type decoy drones," the AFU Air Force said on Telegram.

According to preliminary data, as of 18:30, air defense shot down/suppressed 70 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and Parodiya decoy types in the east, north and south of the country. A ballistic missile hit and 14 attack UAV hits were recorded.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
