Owner of Luhansk enterprise that repaired 'LPR' government building detained in Kyiv – PGO
Law enforcement officers in Kyiv have exposed the owner of a construction company from the Luhansk region who collaborated with the occupation authorities and fulfilled their contracts, according to the Prosecutor General’s Office.
In 2025, her company performed renovation work on the so-called the "Luhansk People’s Republic" government building, receiving more than UAH 630,000 for the task. Investigation data indicates that in 2023, the suspect, residing in Kyiv, used relatives remaining in the temporarily occupied territory to re-register the enterprise under Russian legislation and integrate it into the public procurement system of Russia.
The company subsequently performed work on objects for the occupation administration. It has been established that the suspect received more than UAH 630,000 from these activities in the temporarily occupied territory in 2025.
The entrepreneur has been notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 28 and Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding assistance to Russia committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy. At the request of the prosecution, the court has ordered the suspect to be held in custody without the right to bail.
