Zelenskyy and Carney discuss strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and Canada

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney in Yerevan. During the meeting, the leaders discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation, continued support for the Ukrainian people, and ongoing efforts to return Ukrainian children abducted by Russia.

Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Canada for its significant support of the PURL program. "The additional $200 million announced today by Prime Minister Mark Carney is an important contribution to protecting our people from constant Russian ballistic strikes," the president stated. To date, Canada has directed more than $830 million toward this initiative.
