Merefa casualty toll rises to 18 injured, 3 in serious condition – Synehubov

The number of casualties from the Russian missile strike on Merefa has risen to 18, three of whom are in serious condition, Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Synehubov said.

"Three of the wounded are in serious condition. Another 13 people sustained blast injuries of medium severity. Two casualties suffered acute stress reactions," Synehubov wrote on Telegram.

He reported that the strike damaged at least 10 residential properties, four shops, a car service station, an administrative building, two vehicles and a food establishment.

As previously reported, four people were killed and 16 injured in the missile strike on Merefa.
