Defense Forces hit Russian Iskander tactical group, Podlyot radar – AFU General Staff

On the night of May 2, as part of efforts to reduce the offensive capabilities of the Russian aggressor, units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a number of enemy military facilities, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said.

"In particular, the location of a tactical group of Iskander operational-tactical missile systems was hit in Druzhne, in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. Enemy radar assets in temporarily occupied Crimea were also hit, namely the MYS-M1 coastal radar station in Mayak and Podlyot radar station in Yevpatoria," the General Staff said on Telegram.

In addition, three enemy UAV control points and a UAV depot in the occupied territory of Donetsk region were hit.

Ukrainian soldiers also struck an enemy repair unit near Kadiivka in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region and an ammunition depot near Ivanivka in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region.

Following previous strikes, the destruction of an ammunition depot at the Kacha airfield in occupied Crimea on April 29, 2026, has been confirmed.

"Ukraine’s Defense Forces will continue to systematically strike important enemy facilities until the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine is completely stopped," the General Staff said.
