We expect significant things from talks in May – Zelenskyy

Several new sanctions packages are being prepared for the near future, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.

"We are preparing new sanctions decisions – several sanctions packages – for today and for the near future. We are continuing our work with partners – in Europe, the Middle East, the Gulf, and other parts of the world – with everyone who is able to strengthen Ukrainian air defense and provide Ukraine with greater economic strength," the president said in an address on Saturday.

"We expect significant things from the negotiations in May," he added.
