Russia has launched about 1,600 attack drones, nearly 1,100 guided aerial bombs and three missiles against Ukraine this week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday.

Today, seven people injured in Kherson after a Russian FPV drone struck an ordinary city minibus are receiving the necessary medical care.

"Unfortunately, two people were killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. All those injured during the attack were civilians, and the Russians knew this for sure. In fact, this is such a cruel safari on people every day in our frontline and border communities. In Kharkiv, a drone hit a residential apartment building. There were strikes on energy facilities in Mykolaiv region. They also struck Dnipro, Odesa, Sumy, Kherson and Donetsk regions," the president said.

He said "the Russians are trying to overload our air defense with massive attacks, and therefore the supply of missiles is very important every day."

"And it is equally important that pressure on the aggressor does not weaken, because any easing of existing sanctions only leads to replenishing the Russian wallet, which they spend on war," Zelenskyy said.

He thanked everyone "who is working on new sanctions packages and helping to restrict Russian schemes to circumvent sanctions."
