British lecturers to help modernize UAV specialist training – Presidential Foundation
One of the results of the UK-UA Visiting Professors Programme involving British lecturers will be the modernization of training for aerospace specialists, in particular in the design of UAV systems, the Presidential Foundation of Ukraine for Support of Education, Science and Sports has said.
"In the energy and engineering sector, the result will be the development of roadmaps for resilient energy systems and the modernization of training for aerospace specialists, in particular in the design of unmanned systems," the Foundation told Interfax-Ukraine in an exclusive comment.
It is noted that the practical results of this program are of strategic importance for Ukraine's reconstruction and the integration of Ukrainian science into the global space.
In particular, in the medical field, this primarily concerns the introduction of robotic surgery technologies for the treatment of wounded people and military personnel.
"The environmental area will ensure the creation of digital maps and protocols for restoring war-contaminated soils using modern satellite data and spectrometry," the comment says.
The scientific effect of the program will also include the preparation of joint publications in top-level international journals and the development of grant applications, which will ensure the sustainable development of university partnerships.
"Thus, the program transforms British expertise into concrete solutions to strengthen Ukraine's defense capability, economic resilience and quality of higher education," the Presidential Foundation said.
The UK-UA Visiting Professors Programme is a program of the Presidential Foundation of Ukraine for Support of Education, Science and Sports, implemented in partnership with the UK-Ukraine Academic Diaspora Network.
