The National Archival Fund (NAF) contains hundreds of unique materials that form historical memory, including the Universal of the Directorate of the Ukrainian People’s Republic on the Unification with the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic and the Act of Proclamation of Independence of Ukraine. One notable document is a greeting charter from Hetman Pavlo Skoropadsky dated October 20, 1918, which is stored in the State Archives of Khmelnytskyi Region. This original document, featuring the Hetman’s signature and wax seal, certifies the opening of the Ukrainian State University in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
The NAF of Ukraine represents a collection of all archival documents with cultural, historical, or scientific value that reflect the life of the Ukrainian people and are considered state property. The fund includes documents on any media, regardless of where they were created, that are subject to permanent storage.
