MPs Zheleznyak and Honcharenko publish text versions of 'Mindich recordings '
Ukrainian People’s Deputies Yaroslav Zheleznyak (Holos faction) and Oleksiy Honcharenko (European Solidarity faction) have published on their YouTube pages text versions of what they claim are recordings of conversations involving businessman Tymur Mindich.
According to Zheleznyak, the materials came from the defense side, as evidenced by the document format and the header of the first page.
The fragments published by the deputy concern discussions between Mindich and then-Defense Minister Rustem Umierov on government personnel matters, including candidates for the post of defense minister and candidates for the post of Ukrainian ambassador to the US. The conversation is dated July 8, 2025.
Zheleznyak also cites a fragment of a conversation between Mindich and Umierov about what is apparently "project 23," which may be connected to financing.
MP Honcharenko also published text fragments of the so-called "Mindich recordings" on his YouTube channel. The deputy said he is citing "records of the results of an operational-technical measure – audio surveillance of a person."
One such record concerns an alleged conversation between Mindich, Herman Halushchenko and Oleksandr Tsukerman about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, dated July 14, 2025.
Another record, according to Honcharenko, contains a conversation between Mindich, Tsukerman and an unknown person about the Cabinet of Ministers and mayors, dated July 3, 2025.
In addition, the records cited by Honcharenko include conversations between Mindich and former first presidential aide Serhiy Shefir about personnel matters, as well as the full text of what the deputy claims is the conversation between Mindich and Umierov.
Earlier, Ukrainska Pravda published fragments of conversations between businessman Tymur Mindich and former first presidential aide Serhiy Shefir and ex-Defense Minister Rustem Umierov, documented by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office as part of Operation Midas.
The video covers three conversations: between Mindich and ex-first presidential aide Serhiy Shefir, apparently about paying bail for ex-Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov; between Mindich and an unknown woman named Natalia about the construction of four buildings apparently for the Dynastiia cooperative for Mindich, Chernyshov, and individuals named Andrii and Vova; and between Mindich and then-Defense Minister Umierov apparently about procurement of Fire Point products, body armor and a possible appointment of Umierov as ambassador to the US.
As Mykhailo Tkach noted, the "Masha" discussed by Mindich and Umierov is not volunteer Mariia Berlinska but apparently Mariia Vasylivna Dotsenko, an adviser to the director general of National Investment Fund of Ukraine JSC on strategic partnership development with Middle Eastern countries.
The text versions of the "Mindich recordings" published by the people’s deputies have not yet been verified, and the authenticity of the recordings published the previous day by Ukrainska Pravda has also not been confirmed.
Ukraine’s anti-corruption bodies have not provided information regarding the published conversation recordings.
Umierov’s press service, commenting to Interfax-Ukraine on the recordings published by Ukrainska Pravda, said the authenticity and relevance of the recordings has not been established, stressed that Umierov provided the investigation with the necessary explanations, and regarding the substance of the allegations noted that communication about weapons is part of the defense minister’s duties.
National Bank of Ukraine Governor Andrii Pyshnyi denied that Mindich, Umierov, representatives of Fire Point or other defense companies had approached him for assistance with financing.
Fire Point co-owner Denys Shtilerman said the published "Mindich recordings" are an attempt at discreditation, with the company insisting on the need to verify their authenticity and asking whether the recordings are materials of criminal proceedings.
The text of the company’s official appeal to NABU was published by Shtilerman on social network X on April 30.
The Public Anti-Corruption Council (PAC) at Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, citing data from anti-corruption bodies, reported that Mindich turned out to be the sole or one of the beneficiaries of defense industry company Fire Point, which may as a result lose the ability to supply its products to the defense forces.
