Defense Forces hit refinery in Orsk, two Russian helicopters – AFU General Staff

On Wednesday, April 29, and on the night of April 30, units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck important enemy facilities, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.

"In particular, the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in Orsk, Orenburg region, Russia, was hit. A strike was recorded, followed by a fire on the territory of the enterprise. The facility is involved in supplying the Russian occupation army," the General Staff said on Telegram.

It is noted that the plant produces more than 30 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene and others. Its design refining capacity is 6.6 million tonnes of oil per year. It is involved in supplying the Russian occupation army.

In addition, enemy Mi-28 and Mi-17 helicopters were hit near the settlement of Babki in Voronezh region of Russia.

Ukrainian soldiers also hit a Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system near Oleksandrivka in Zaporizhia region, a control point of an enemy artillery brigade in Lysychansk in the occupied territory of Luhansk region, an ammunition depot near Kremenivka in the occupied territory of Donetsk region, and a base site for enemy boats in the Black Sea.

"The scale of the damage inflicted is being clarified," the General Staff said.
