Zelenskyy signs decrees extending martial law and mobilization for another 3 months

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed bills No. 15197 and No. 15198, which extend martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine for another 90 days, starting from May 4, 2026.
Corresponding notes appeared in the bill cards on the parliament’s website.
As reported, martial law was introduced on February 24, 2022, in connection with the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
On April 27, Zelenskyy signed decrees No. 342/2026 and No. 343/2026, which extend martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine for another 90 days, starting from May 4, and submitted bills No. 15197 and No. 15198 for their approval to parliament. Deputies supported them the next day with 315 and 304 votes respectively.
