Zelenskyy: Five times more middle strike assets contracted in 2026 than in 2025
Middle strike assets designed to hit the enemy at a depth of up to 120-150 kilometers are among the priorities for the coming months, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said following a report by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov on the provision of all types of drones for Ukrainian operations.
"This year, five times more middle strike assets have already been contracted than last year, and we will continue to scale up contracting and production," Zelenskyy said on Telegram on Wednesday evening.
The president also discussed with the minister preliminary data on Russian losses at the front in April.
"The final verified information will arrive in the first days of May. The task is for the number of hits on the occupiers' personnel to exceed the pace of their mobilization," he said.
Zelenskyy also discussed with Fedorov the implementation of the opening of weapons exports, "namely the regulatory steps that should support our state's agreements and weapons production."
