Ukraine eliminated 154 of 171 enemy drones, however hits by 12 drones were recorded at 10 locations, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
"According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defence shot down/suppressed 154 enemy Shahed, Herber, Italmas and other type drones in the north, south and east of the country," the Telegram statement said.
In total, overnight on April 29 (from 18:00 on April 28), the enemy attacked with 171 strike drones of the Shahed (including jet-powered), Herber, Italmas and other types from the directions of Kursk, Shatalovo, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, temporarily occupied Donetsk, Hvardiiske and Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea, with around 120 of them being Shaheds.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s defence forces.
Meanwhile, hits by 12 strike drones were recorded at 10 locations, and wreckage of downed drones fell at 12 locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in Ukrainian airspace, the command added.
