Over 10 vehicles damaged in drone attack on Kyiv, two injured – National Police

Two Kyiv residents were injured as a result of an attack by Russian unmanned aerial vehicles on Tuesday afternoon. Around ten vehicles were damaged in Shevchenkivsky district of the Ukrainian capital, while cars and windows in one of the buildings were also damaged in Solomiansky district, according to a post on the Telegram channel of the National Police of Ukraine.

"In Shevchenkivsky district, an enemy UAV hit an unfinished building, with debris damaging around ten vehicles. In Solomiansky district, a drone fell on the territory of a cemetery; the blast wave damaged windows in a nearby building, as well as cars. In total, two civilians were injured as a result of the shelling: a 19-year-old man sustained a bruised leg wound, and a 47-year-old man was injured in a road accident during the fall of debris," the police said in the statement.

Investigative teams from district police departments, explosive ordnance specialists and units of the State Emergency Service are working at the scene. Specialists are inspecting the area for explosive objects and recording the consequences of Russian terror.

As reported, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv, explosions were heard, enemy drones were detected over the city, and air defense forces were operating. Debris from downed drones fell at two locations in Shevchenkivsky district and at one location in Solomiansky district. Two people were reported injured.
