Russia attacks 19 settlements in Sumy region, kills 1, injures 4 – official

Russian troops attacked 19 settlements in the Sumy region over the past 24 hours, killing 1 woman and injuring 4 other people, the National Police of Ukraine said on Telegram.

A woman died during shelling in the Shostka community, while 4 people sustained injuries following guided aerial bomb strikes in the Yampil community, the police said.

Criminal proceedings have been opened for each incident under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
