Young man jumps to his death from destroyed Mykolaiv administration building
A young man jumped from the roof of the destroyed regional military administration building on Admiralska Street in Mykolaiv at approximately 12:50 pm on Monday, April 27.
"A tragedy occurred today – a guy jumped from the destroyed regional council (military administration) building. Police are currently establishing all the circumstances of the tragic event and the identity of the deceased," Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Head Vitaliy Kim said on Telegram.
Police officers from Mykolaiv regional department No. 1, forensics experts from the regional police headquarters, and a forensic medical expert are working at the scene, the Mykolaiv region police press service said.
Law enforcement officers preliminarily qualified the event under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional homicide) with the note "suicide," as required by procedure in such cases, the police said.
