Local councils to introduce deputy heads for defense – Defense Ministry

Local councils in Ukraine’s regions will introduce deputy heads for defense issues. Active-duty military personnel seconded by the Ministry of Defense will fill these positions, the ministry’s press service reports.

"This is necessary so that civilian authorities and the military work more harmoniously, and security decisions are made faster," the Ministry of Defense emphasized.

It is noted that these deputy heads for defense will become part of the national resistance system that Ukraine is developing during the full-scale war.
