Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko has met with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Rzeszow.

"The Ukrainian-Polish cooperation has a busy agenda. We focused primarily on defense, energy, bilateral trade, and the development of border and logistics infrastructure. We expect to sign an agreement on control at joint checkpoints and resolve technical issues related to the registration of Ukrainian carriers in the SENT/RMPD system soon," Svyrydenko wrote on her Telegram channel following the meeting.

The parties also discussed strengthening cooperation between energy companies Naftogaz and ORLEN, as well as the participation of Polish companies in privatization processes in Ukraine.

"I thanked the Prime Minister for his personal contribution to unblocking the 20th sanctions package and the EUR 90 billion EU loan. It is important for us that the first part of it arrives in the near future to support our defense capability and budget needs. We also expect the fastest possible start of negotiations on all clusters in the context of Ukraine’s EU membership," Svyrydenko added.

She also thanked Poland for preparing this year’s Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdansk and invited Tusk to participate in the Fourth International Summit of Cities and Regions, which will take place in Kyiv in May, ahead of URC 2026.
