Russians continue advance on Pokrovsk direction, amassing forces in southeastern part of city – 7th Airborne Corps

Russians are continuing their strategic offensive to seize the Pokrovsk agglomeration in the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Airborne Assault Troops, the corps press service said.

"Sustaining losses, the enemy is focused on restoring offensive capabilities and continuously replenishing personnel," the Telegram post said.

Ukraine’s defence forces are currently holding positions on the northern outskirts of Pokrovsk. In the southeastern part of the city, the enemy is attempting to mass heavy equipment, including artillery and tanks. Ukrainian forces are detecting and engaging enemy equipment with fire. Work to detect and destroy enemy command posts and drone operator positions is also ongoing.

In addition, Russia continues to press on Hryshyne, attempting to gain a foothold in the western part of the settlement. The enemy is operating in small groups through fields and forest belts, intending to advance toward the outskirts of Vasylivka and Novooleksandrivka.

"At the same time, the enemy’s assault activity is accompanied by systemic logistics problems, including with food and medical supply," the corps said.
