Klitschko to attend Bloomberg CityLab international cities summit in Madrid
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko will attend the 12th Bloomberg CityLab – the world’s leading cities summit, to be held April 27-29 in Madrid and organized by Bloomberg Philanthropies and the Aspen Institute.
"This year’s summit will discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on city economies, labour markets and municipal governance. Key topics will also include resolving the urban housing crisis and restoring public trust in an era of polarization. For Kyiv, participation in such an event is an opportunity to present the Ukrainian capital at one of the most authoritative international platforms, draw the global community’s attention to the challenges facing Ukraine’s capital in wartime, and strengthen cooperation with partner cities and international institutions," the Kyiv city mayor’s website reported Monday.
The summit will be attended by the mayors of Madrid, London, Barcelona, Warsaw, Baltimore and San Antonio, as well as former New York mayor and Bloomberg founder Michael Bloomberg, European Investment Bank President Nadia Calviño, and Aspen Institute President Daniel Porterfield.
