Zelenskyy proposes Rada extend martial law and general mobilization periods

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is proposing the Verkhovna Rada extend martial law and general mobilization by 90 days.

The corresponding draft laws on approval of presidential decrees "On extending martial law in Ukraine" (No. 15197) and "On extending the general mobilization period" (No. 15198) were registered in the Verkhovna Rada on Monday, the parliament’s website reported.

Under the draft laws, martial law and general mobilization are proposed to be extended for 90 days from May 4, 2026.
