Two killed, 7 injured in Chernihiv region in Russian shelling – authorities
The enemy launched a combined strike on Chernihiv region on Saturday night, killing two people and injuring seven, Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Head Viacheslav Chaus said on Telegram.
"Russians attacked Nizhyn, presumably with a ballistic missile and Geran [drones]. Unfortunately, two men were killed: one was 30 years old, the other 60. A 54-year-old man was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds. An elderly woman was injured," he said.
In the Horodnia community, Geran drones attacked residential areas, damaging dozens of private houses. Five people are known to have been injured there.
In addition, a Geran drone attacked a hospital in Semenivka, damaging the medical facility and its boiler house.
Another drone attacked the Snovsk community of Koriukivka district. Residential houses were hit in villages, sparking fires in homes, outbuildings and a car.
"A total of 27 shelling incidents and 54 explosions were recorded over the past 24 hours," Chaus said.
