Ukraine agrees on new PURL contributions at EU summit in Cyprus – Sybiha
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha said President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had reached agreements on new contributions to the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) and additional aid packages for Ukraine at the European Union summit in Cyprus.
"Separate agreements, bilateral agreements – these include additional funds for PURL and also additional aid packages – all of this happened," Sybiha said on a national television marathon on Friday.
He described the summit in Cyprus as "a turning point" and "a point of new momentum on our path to full membership in the EU."
"We received a historic decision – a EUR 90 billion loan. Ukraine withstood the blow," Sybiha said, also mentioning the adoption of another, 20th package of sanctions against Russia.
