Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he had held a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud and agreed with him on cooperation between the two countries.

"There is a strategic security agreement that we are actively developing in three key areas. The first is the export of our Ukrainian security expertise and capabilities in protecting the sky. The second is energy cooperation, which adds resilience to Ukraine in this difficult time. The third is the area of food security," Zelenskyy said on Telegram on Friday, describing the meeting as "very productive."

According to him, he and the crown prince set tasks for the teams of both countries and are now counting on their prompt and full implementation.

"Now, when international relations are significantly destabilized, it is precisely this kind of bilateral work that restores confidence," the Ukrainian president said.

Zelenskyy also said he exchanged views with Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud on the situation in the Middle East and the Gulf.

"We hope there will be more security, and we are helping this happen," he said.
