Two killed and 14 wounded in another Russian strike on Odesa – SESU
Two people were killed and 14 more were wounded as a result of a Russian attack on Odesa overnight into Friday, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said.
"In total, two people were killed and 14 were wounded as a result of the Russian attack," the statement said on Telegram.
Residential buildings and civilian infrastructure came under attack. A strike on a 3-story residential building destroyed apartments and caused a fire. Six people were injured.
Two 2-story residential buildings were also destroyed, where rescue workers saved one person and evacuated 20 more, including two children. Seven people were injured there.
In addition, an enemy drone struck a 2-story building, killing two people and injuring one more. Sixteen residents were evacuated from the building.
The SESU noted that psychologists on site provided assistance to over 50 residents, including three children, who were in a state of severe stress.
The clearing of consequences is ongoing. Information is being verified. Over 140 rescue workers are deployed at strike sites.
As reported, Russian forces struck residential buildings in Odesa, leaving three people injured, city military administration head Serhiy Lysak said.
