Enemy actively trying to infiltrate Kostiantynivka – DeepState
Russian occupiers are trying to infiltrate the city of Kostiantynivka in Kramatorsk district, Donetsk region, using large numbers of infantry, the DeepState OSINT project reported.
"The largest number of infiltrations and attempts to build up forces are being recorded in the private residential sector on the southeastern outskirts of Kostiantynivka. The dense private housing there allows them to hide in ruins and houses, which complicates strike-and-search operations for Ukrainian drone pilots," the project said on Telegram.
It noted that this penetration zone is becoming increasingly dangerous, because sustained enemy buildup and entrenchment there would enable further infiltration deeper into the city.
"At the same time, active infiltration is taking place on the eastern outskirts near the settlement of Novodmytrivka, where Russians are being spotted trying to seize the village, which would also allow them to concentrate forces and then move into the city," the project's analysts said.
An additional axis of enemy pressure is the southwestern outskirts of Kostiantynivka near the settlements of Berestok and Illinivka.
"In particular, we are clarifying whether Berestok is actually under our control at all, or whether Ukrainian defense forces are simply holding positions there unsuccessfully while the enemy is actively infiltrating through them," DeepState said.
According to the researchers, based on communication with Ukrainian drone pilots, they are reporting a shortage of personnel able to hold back the Russian pressure.
"In particular, drones are the main resource for destroying and blocking infiltration, with Ukrainian troops using them to hunt down the Russians. They are constantly trying to contain enemy infantry, but its 'endless' numbers are gradually breaking through Kostiantynivka's defenses," the OSINT analysts said.
