Zelenskyy plans to discuss air defense system creation with Sweden

Ukraine will work on building its own air defense system with European countries that have strong companies, and plans to discuss the matter with Sweden, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.

"We will work with European countries that have strong companies – Norway, Germany, the Netherlands. We also want to discuss this with Sweden, I plan to do that a little later," Zelenskyy told journalists on Thursday.

On April 19, the president said Ukraine needs to build its own anti-ballistic air defense system within a year, calling it realistic but noting there are questions regarding components.
