Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles, on a visit to Kyiv, has received the Order of Princess Olga III degree from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The purpose of the visit was to once again express Spain’s support and solidarity with the Ukrainian people, Robles said while speaking with journalists in Kyiv on Wednesday, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported. Spain will always be with Ukraine and cannot forget about Ukraine, the minister said.

She said she had a meeting with Ukrainian colleague Mykhailo Fedorov, after which she was received by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

I had a meeting with President Zelenskyy, and he also presented me with the Order of Princess Olga, which is one of the highest awards of the Ukrainian government for women, Robles said.
