TV and Radio Committee shuts down six online stores for distributing Russia books

State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, together with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), has shut down the illegal activities of several online stores selling Russia publishing products.

Monitoring revealed a number of online stores – Storinkabook, IQbook, Po4itayka, Po4itaemka, Knigomania, and Knygomania – engaged in the illegal sale of publishing products from Russia. Specifically, they offered literature from sanctioned Russia publishers Eksmo, AST, Tsentrpoligraf, and Piter. Furthermore, the stores’ inventory included editions released by Russia publishers after the start of the full-scale invasion and likely delivered to Ukraine illegally, the committee said on its website.

An inspection also established that the website owners violated the Law of Ukraine on Electronic Commerce by concealing information about their legal status and location.

National Center for Operational and Technical Management of Electronic Communication Networks of Ukraine, following the joint work of the committee and the SBU, decided to restrict access to these resources.

Access to the websites can only be restored after the end of martial law, provided the resource owners legalize themselves and bring their activities into full compliance with Ukrainian legislation.

In cooperation with the SBU, 31 online bookstores distributing Russia products have been blocked since July 2025. At the same time, five stores were blocked repeatedly for attempting to resume illegal activities on new domains, the committee said.
